West Africa Christian Cruise with a Mission

Come let our Purposeful Africa cruise give you a chance to serve softly in the mission field while seeing majestic, exotic Africa.   Click here for our mission statement.  The departure date for the first segment is February 10, 2010.

On this enlightening journey using a cruise ship, we explore the very roots of Africa's history and legend.  The visits to the river's deltas, jungles and winding river communities will provide you with insight that is virtually unknown to most. You will see first hand the hard realities in the daily lives of people born to these areas; but you'll also share the importance of hope and your longing for others to see and feel God's grace and love in action. We'll work with their local and international ministries in discipleship outreach, educational and health programs, building projects, orphanages plus support the huge evangelistic missions that have taken place in their communities.

As part of your mission, be ready for adventure and wonders!  In addition to helping others we'll have opportunity to see the rare pygmy hippopotami, hyena, elephant, camels and all sorts of baboons and monkeys during the safaris and excursions. We will be a part of the small fishing villages where you can work in tandem with local ministries to assist them with vital needs.  Afterwards be ready for them to take you game-fishing.  When you return to the ship our chef will even prepare your catch!  The lifetime opportunities are endless.


Ten to seventy-five days, you choose! You may take any segment of the event, or take multiple segments.   There are pricing benefits (and benefits to the heart!) to staying with us for a longer period of time.  Note that the itinerary may change due to local ministry needs.

Monrovia, Liberia - Outreach program and/or take the 2 night tented safari to view the rare pygmy hippos, elephants and other animals in Africa's largest rainforest.   Not many in the world have seen them!  Today also will be your opportunity to tour Mercy Ships.

Monrovia Liberia - Outreach program, golf at the private golf course or try your hand at fishing the way the locals do!  Bring back your catch for the chef to prepare your meal this evening!

Monrovia, Liberia - Outreach program or take a snorkel/scuba BBQ lunch tour. Say goodbye to our friends at Mercy Ships and the local churches tonight at our farewell dinner.  Depart 10pm.

Our gracious ship will also provide respite to those pastors, missionaries and spouses who live near the ports we will be visiting.  Share in this time of blessing others as God’s servants are pampered and encouraged while they serve abroad.  We will enjoy excellent Bible-based teachings and fellowship with other on-board believers.  We will also visit Mercy Ships' floating facility while it is in West Africa.

Living Passages – we're taking the gospel seriously -  shouting the Gospel with our lives - praying that we transform some part of the lives of those we serve.  We believe fighting poverty also fights slavery.
