Day
1 ~ Rome. Your cruise departs from Rome. Fly in early or add days at the end. Your
options are endless! Rome was such an important place for the Paul.
You can visit the prison where he was kept, walk the Appian Way, marvel
at Circus Maximus – the place where all of the martyrs were hung upside
down on crosses and so much more. There are also other tours if you
have been to Rome – they include Medieval tour, Ancient Ostia,
Archeological tour, Baroque Rome, Imperial Rome, The Vatican, The
Borghese Gallery, Splendour of the Palaces or even a trip to Florence or
The Lakes!
Day
2 ~ Naples/Capri. Pompeii is the most important historic site in this part of Italy; at
one time it was a prosperous city with 20,000 residents. The eruption of
Vesuvius in A.D. 79 buried the town for some 1,700-plus years. It was
rediscovered in the mid-18th century as a result of excavations, and
visitors can now wander the streets of this ancient, doomed city. Or
visit the island of Capri, located just across the Bay of Naples,
has charming villages (Anacapri and Capri) full of boutiques and
sidewalk cafes and is a fun destination for easy-going sightseeing.
Other diversions include a boat trip to the Blue Grotto; it's a fabulous
sea cave.
Day

Medieval, and 100% Mediterranean, the city is adorned with graceful
Italian architecture and lies nearby a wealth of archaeological sites.
The Gate of Freedom leads through the towering city wall to the remains
of the temple of Venus, the Street of Knights, and the Palace of the
Grand Master. Folk dancing and Socrates Street hops with freewheeling
restaurants, cafes, and shops. Mosaics of colorful umbrellas decorate
the popular, pebbled beaches.
Day
